Fellow LiveRamper - Thanks for sharing this review. On the topic of age and experience: we're proud to hire a blend of seasoned professionals and those earlier in their career. I'd welcome an opportunity to learn more about your experience—especially because it differs from what we typically hear from our teammates and clients. - Brandon

Great Company With Great Growing Pains

Pros

LiveRamp offers a lot of responsibility and autonomy and a relatively flat hierarchical structure. The company grows leaders from within and takes that value very seriously, meaning there's plenty of room for upward career mobility. The people here are kind and intelligent.

Cons

The company's rapid growth has led to junior to senior head count imbalances, too many managers that aren't meant to manage, and large organizational silos. It feels like many of the orgs inside LiveRamp are competing with each other for resources and budget allocation. The growth of leaders from within is also a con. A lot of the management layer at LiveRamp has only ever worked at LiveRamp which can cause proliferation of bad management practices.

Thank you for posting this feedback. While we have a culture of growing leaders from within, we also recognize we have to balance that with bringing in external leaders that can help us scale the business. In fact over the past two years, we have brought in more external leaders to the business than ever before while still being able to show people internally exciting growth paths. If you are up for it, I’d love to chat with you about your experience working at LiveRamp so we can identify areas within the company where our values are not being reflected in our management practices. - Anneka

Pros

LiveRamp is a great company to grow as it is very fast-paced. Projects are various, changing team is possible and recommended by the managers at some point, so as an Engineer we get to do a lot of different things. Huge pro: the Hackweek lets employees work on any type of project helping the company for a week, and is a great way to try and discover new technologies/teams.

Cons

As it is a fast-paced company, the org might be changing quite fast sometimes.
