Pros

Work life balance is solid, benefits are okay, pay is better than expected, however company direction has shifted many times in the past year causing lots of employee churn

Cons

Brain drain on the company. There have been a lot of key departures in the last two years.

Pros

A friend called me during the week of 10/30 to ask about LiveRamp and applying for one of the few open positions at the company but was concerned because Glassdoor reviews pointed to a toxic environment and there being issues with the company’s execution of diversity programs. I initially said I think it’s still a great place to learn and had good benefits. Might not be a long term career move, but some good people and still a promising product.

Cons

About a week later said friend called my attention to a post from 11/9 “An Entitled and Ungrateful Organization” in which a current HR employee boasts about the HR leadership team being superior to their colleagues because they come from bigger companies. The “lesser” companies with the inferior employees that are presented as the entitled and ungrateful, are mentioned by name. Additionally, HR employee goes on to mention that glorified Office Managers and Front Desk employees think they run the company. I was pretty shocked, because up until this point I still saw lots of goodness at LiveRamp. What I was reading was a post celebrating elitism. A pure act of bullying of individuals by calling out their “lesser” companies. If we are truly inclusive, why would HR (those that should be the keepers of inclusion) say that some employees are better and deserve more consideration because they come from a bigger company. Lastly, it’s disheartening to see colleagues belittled for taking on professional careers in Workplace Support.
