Pros

Generally, the company is high performing and most employees are great. You get to work with top clients and on innovative solutions. From a compensation perspective, I do think employees are well compensated between salary, stock, and benefits. The company culture, for the most part, is very positive.

Cons

One major con and risk of the company is the Addressability team and one specific leader who's been called out multiple times in the past. The company is banking A LOT on 1) our addressability solutions (which are definitely market leading) and 2) on a specific leader on the team that's extremely toxic (see past reviews as well). While the product itself may be fine, the Addressability team has had major turnover and has created a decent amount of cross-functional friction as well as friction with certain partners/clients - and that's all primarily because of this individual. He's enabled and continues to promote a cut-throat, hostile environment where employees literally dread joint calls together. Moreover, it's widely known within the company that this individual has had multiple run-ins with HR, and not much has changed over the last few years. Unfortunately, he's been given a lot of power and that has been to the detriment of those that have to work with him, both on his team and cross-functionally (commercial leads, marketing, etc.). Because of this individual, multiple top performers have left the company and a few have switched to other teams to stay further away from him. Higher level leadership has acknowledged the problem but not much has been done to fix it, so my advice to leadership is to actually create a plan and actively work on a resolution to this toxic problem that continues to grow.

Pros

Flexibility and collaborative culture across orgs

Cons

Newer products (eg Safe Haven) don’t have the fleshed out structure that Core does so pretty much your role (selling , supporting, etc) has many limitations because the product is being built in real time still with many limitations Even with flexible PTO people are still expected to be accessible and responsive on Slack and email. Disrespectful. There were layoffs this week and the previous review was right. Those remaining have to pick up the pieces for those who left. Senior people with expertise and technical know how that add value to clients and differentiate LiveRamp were let go but somehow they’re scaling up the sales team. No type of direction. I won’t be surprised if more people leave after the holidays/collecting their commission and bonus if there is one.

Pros

Smart folks, great office location, work/life balance. Free lunches on Monday/Wednesdays. Engineers seem to be pretty tightly knit. Other 'startup' perks.... free snacks, drinks, pool table, etc.

Cons

Company offers only one feature solution, and doesn't necessarily do it well. I know that they have been desperately trying to hire people for various roles across all responsibilities. One thing they are big on is their engineers coming from a 'Top Engineering school'. Kinda elitist line of thinking but whatever. If you are interviewing, be cautious.
