Disappointing.

Pros

High technology, excellent reputation in the industry. Committed to providing excellent products. Full benefits.

Cons

Opportunities for useful training are non-existent; if you don't want to become a technical dinosaur, be prepared to get training on your own time and on your on dime. Raises are slim, and layoffs are getting more and more frequent. Work is cyclical due to defense spending. Meanwhile, the company is reporting record profits.

Pros

Good pay and benefits. Excellent advancement opportunities for new hires and those willing to suck up to good old boy network and sell your soul.

Cons

Lockheed Martin discriminates against older employees (50 and above). It also does not enforce anti-harassment in the workplace policies. Not much room for advancement if you don't brown nose the good old boy network.

Pros

Flexible work hours, as long as you do your work and work the 40 hours a week you are required to work there are no issues. Great employees to work with, all very smart. Challenging work.

Cons

Constant layoffs every year for the past 4 years, due to federal government budget cuts.
