Pros

Sikorsky builds outstanding helicopters. Excellent tuition benefits. Just got acquired by Lockheed Martin. Benefits are faily good.

Cons

There is a disconnect between senior management and mid-management. Not enough technical training. Current product sales are highly dependent on the oil industy.

Pros

Loved the job and very comfortable performing at 120% and at an accelerated tempo. Praised by management for performing at engineer level V for years. Personal satisfaction when completion achieved.

Cons

The more you do the more they expect you to do. Praised for level V work but paid at level III. Managers will ask how are WE doing until something goes wrong and it immediately becomes What did YOU do? Very little management support when you need them most.
