Dingy cube culture, some leaders are good and others not so much depending on what programs you work on. Company is in cost cutting mode with due to government budget cuts so you're expected to work on more contracts than you should. The starting salaries are competitive but its hard to advance rapidly. I've seen employees apply for jobs at a higher level, however they will sometimes keep you at your current level when getting the job, doesn't make sense. I will say with such a big company there are different work environments depending on your location and programs you work on.

advancement is very political... it's all in who you know. Management does not take kindly to outsiders (incoming from other programs) joining their team. There isn't any teamwork at the Huntsille site. Everyone is out for themselves in fear of job security. Non military employees only have one option in Healthcare. The Company is NOT what they used to be and it shows in the morale of the employees. A non-inclusive environment.
