Top place to work

Pros

Benefits are comprehensive. Pay is competitive. The staff members are extremely professional and focused. Stretch assignments are offered by which employees can expand their skills and competencies.

Cons

Heavily tied to the US defense industry so projects can be affected by congressional budget issues such as sequestration or program changes from the political level. A fact of life for any in the defense/aerospace industry.

Overall Lockheed Martin is a great place to work

Pros

Lockheed starts you with a great salary and benefits. You have a flexible schedule and they may also include telecommuting.

Cons

Parts of Lockheed Martin is contract based, which means if they lose the contract, you may also lose your job. But, unlike most employers, Lockheed gives you months of advance notice and they also go the extra mile to try to find new positions within the company for those that will be losing their job.

Pros

The nurses in the clinics are great to work with and extremely supportive of each other. The pay is competitive in the industry

Cons

The physician managers did not know how to effectively manage. There were not no ways for nurses to advance in the department. Moral is very low
