Pros

As a retired military veteran, to work on a 5th generation program, gave me pride and the feeling that I was still contributing to the war fighters.

Cons

Lockheed has a tendency to place people in management positions that have little or no aviation experience.

Pros

Plenty of funding. Will shift personnel between programs if a project gets cancelled. Easy place to transfer between job/function roles. Senior leadership has been moving the company in the right direction with leadership training throughout the company and higher expectations for hiring.

Cons

Very slow to change or develop something new (project, process, etc). Many years of not hiring the best talent has left a large, underproductive, undermotivated workforce in place. This makes it easy to shine, but don't expect to be surrounded by the best.
