Pros

Logical Position is a great company to work for. Culture is there, and they know you have a life outside of work (great work life balance). Once you start making Presidents Club consistently the money follows. If you put the work in you’ll be solid.

Cons

No room for growth. Once you get to BDE (at least on the sales side) you’ll remain there and the only way up is down.

We’re happy you enjoyed the culture and work-life balance that LP offers. We appreciate your feedback and agree that outside of work events are extremely beneficial to building deeper relationships with coworkers. Earning the title of BDE is no small feat, and we appreciate everything that you did to help the company advance.

Pros

As Digital Marketing Specialist (this goes for Business Development Representatives as well) I was responsible for building my own pipeline, calling my own leads, scheduling meetings and taking advantage of the various training opportunities at my disposal. After working here for several months, I can tell you that anyone can succeed in this role as long as they put in the effort and show up to work. The harder you work, the luckier you get. One of the reasons why I’ve enjoyed being in this position is because it has and is continuing to train me to be a fantastic salesperson. I’ve learned more about sales at this job than any other. The better we get at sales, the more we make in return. Having the opportunity to work completely remotely is a plus. I personally live near an office, so I come in and take advantage of the free snacks and coffee! I was put on a sales team that is very supportive and that is available to answer any questions I have throughout the day or even be there to support me when I’m not having the best day. My team never misses an opportunity to congratulate me on any of my deals and achievements. For some extra motivation, managers will often offer SPIF’s to incentive excellent performance! The managers are as good, skilled and supportive as they come. If you communicate with them, they’ll help you get exactly where you want to be. If I had one tip for someone entering this role, it would be to take advantage of your ability to reach out to any top performer and learn from them. Unlike my previous sales jobs, the top performers at this company are very kind and do not hesitate to offer you any advice they can that will help you succeed. Another one to add is to make sure you hit your call volume. If you can consistently hit more calls than the average rep, your chances of success in this role skyrockets immeasurably. This position is great for anybody looking to get better at sales, gain awesome experience, meet cool people and learn a ton about business and digital marketing. The skills you learn will serve you very well in the future and I use them in many walks of life right now. If you’re looking to take a step up from where you’re currently at in your career like I was, I would highly recommend Logical Position. It’s an awesome company to work for that is very rapidly growing and it offers great opportunities for advancement.

Cons

- Chick-Fil-A needs appear more often at our free Work’In Wednesday lunches in the office, it’s a favorite choice for many :) - Being able to choose SalesForce or HubSpot as an alternative CRM would be a nice choice to have - Providing DMS’ with the Desktop version of Excel upon request might help some of them prospect for efficiently, but this not currently an option for us.
