Pros

I once heard one of the CEOs talk about employee happiness being really important to him. This wasn't in some big presentation or company meeting, it was in the break room and he was just having a conversation with one of the other senior staff members. A few months later, I realized it was true because one of my co-workers wasn't really happy with what they were doing and that same CEO worked with them to help them find a different position that made them excited about coming to work. The company is growing pretty quickly, so new opportunities come up all of the time. I also really like that they just rolled out this new plan that everyone gets 40 hours of paid volunteer time a year. Giving back makes people feel good, and this is just another way they show that they want employees to be happy.

Cons

Parking is tough.. there just aren't enough spots.

We love hearing this kind of feedback. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review. The parking situation in PDX is going to be a thing of the past very soon!

Pros

Lots of social events, friendly staff, and there's a genuine camaraderie around our work. Everyone's more than willing to help each other out. There's a fantastic "whistle while your work" vibe as everyone works very hard but there's still plenty of jokes throughout the workday.

Cons

There seems to be a lot of technical issues like computers crashing so a tech upgrade across the divisions would help a lot. It seems everyone has at least one technical hiccup thanks to a crash or long load times at least once a day.

Pros

Seriously the best company I've worked for so far. Everybody on my team is super encouraging, genuine, and bright. Leadership really takes care of its employees and makes an effort to recognize the work that everyone puts in. Sure, there are downsides, every company has them (especially marketing agencies). But I think the supportive culture really makes up for those drawbacks. The job is stimulating and LP works with a variety of different clients (some great, some not so great), so you'll always be on your feet. And if you're not enjoying what you're doing, they'll help in finding where you'll succeed within the company. It's nice to wake up in the morning not dreading going to work!

Cons

Pay grade can be lower than industry standards. Expensive benefits for what you get. I've also heard some horror stories coming from the sales building, but I've only been in back-office, so I'm far removed from them.
