I wish I could recommend, truth is I can't.

Pros

Very tech centric company with some solid people. Product is decent and VC backed.

Cons

The turnover is becoming a real issue, people are leaving/fired very often. The growth path is very limited, and you're constantly "reminded" of that as a way to make you work harder. Mentorship is unheard of at Logz.io, especially by senior managers.

Thank you for your feedback. I think with most companies during the COVID pandemic there have been some struggles and companies have had to make some tough decisions. With that being said, we are looking forward to brighter tomorrows.

Pros

Nice benefits and corporate program. Good office and ton's of snacks. Flexible work-life balance. I joined logz.io in mid-2020 (Israel). And in the beginning, it was amazing! Excellent team, unique challenging projects, fast feedback, real true team spirit. It was really good boost to my career and lots of new things to learn. It was that case when you love waking up to go to work with fun and good vibes.

Cons

But then the manager that was the heart of the team left because the company didn't appreciate him enough and later it turned hell. New CMO is an interesting person that just knows how to manipulate people and talk in a sneaky disrespectful way about previous team behind their back. No directions or decisions, only talking. When asked concrete questions — the answer would be like "I'm not here to make the micromanagement for you". He brought his entire team from his previous place and placed them as director of director of directors. 25 directors and no one to do the actual job. Made all the people I loved working with leave. I left cause one day I was put in front of the fact that being in a senior position I'm not senior anymore and need to report to some girl that doesn't even have enough qualifications to do this job. Pity, cause I was truly loyal to logz before that amazing new team came.

A sinking ship

Pros

A good place to start if you have no experience

Cons

The product is years behind the competitors. Logz has a niche offering (it can bring value only for companies that have pain managing their open source. and there isn't enough pain out there for the company to grow fast). The company is a wannabe unicorn but has no shot because its offering is very limited and the market is saturated with huge companies that dominate it. Also, people at the revenue organization are leaving in droves. The company is always a few steps behind - also in terms of pay. That's why people are leaving.
