Pros

LCS is the best place to work and I feel LUCKY that I've been a part of the company over the last 4 years. Great benefits, great pay, great people, and it's just a fun place to work. We work hard, but have fun doing it too!

Cons

I don't really have any cons .... I love this company! I am forever grateful to LCS for my career here!

Best job I ever had

Pros

I've been with LCS for a 4 years and have to say, this is the best company I've worked for. There is a lot of good at LCS. My complaint would be the few underachievers who couldn't perform their jobs properly and looked to the company to blame for their own shortcomings. As I read these reviews, it seems these people continue to look to anyone but themselves to blame for their own demise. LCS provides 401k and match, profit sharing, annual holiday bonus, sales bonus for whole company when sales hits their goals, paid training (have attended 2 in the time I've worked here) team-oriented, an environment where ideas are encouraged. The CEO of the company actually cares about the employees and finds time to meet with the employees one on one. This is quite a change from my previous jobs.

Cons

Would like benefits package to include HSA/flex spending. My wife's company has short term disability which is also something that LCS could consider. LCS is building a new building and in the mean time, we have two buildings which separates the employee interaction. I'll be glad when we are all back together under one roof.

Thanks for your feedback! We are so excited to move into our new building as well. While having two buildings is not how we want to operate, it’s what we have to do for now. Our new headquarters is scheduled to open in May, 2016 and will be a high-tech office environment, with high ceilings, lots of natural light and a modern feel. It will also have a large break area and walking trails for employees. One of the best parts is that it will be on 16 acres which will give us plenty of room to expand even more in the future. Thank you so much for your hard work in contributing to our success.

Great low level employees, but management is pitiful.

Pros

Your co-workers are very nice, everyone is pretty good at their job (this does not apply to managers, who neither do any work nor do they know what they are doing). There is a decent 401k and vacation isn't too bad. Casual dress. Half days before Christmas and Thanksgiving are also nice. Company Christmas party was usually fun, Christmas bonus was a nice touch. The appearance that the owner and senior management actually care will make you feel warm and fuzzy.

Cons

The owner and senior management don't actually care. Most of the management are in charge because at one point when the company was 30 people, they were the only person in that job function. They don't know what they are doing, aren't qualified, and certainly aren't managing anything well at all. They have been there long enough to be fully vested and the owner won't get rid of them. Prepare to do all the work, give up all of your ideas, and get no credit for anything you do. Your manager will sit in his/her office and watch the department work, then go to meetings claiming all work progress is the sole result of their skill and intelligence. Nothing could be further from the truth. The horrible management attitude comes directly from the top. In over 2 years working there, the only day the owner talked to me was the day I was hired. He never said another word to me in over 2 years. You'll quickly learn where you stand amongst the managers and senior management. You are only there to be yes men, make them money, and not to cause any difficulty. Don't be the squeaky wheel here, because they don't want to hear anything but praise and yes answers.

LCS is committed to improving our employee experience and we appreciate you sharing this feedback. We have many tools in place to promote interaction between employees and management. Some of these include regularly scheduled department meetings, new hire meeting with our President/CEO, individual touch base meetings with Human Resources, social activities, cross-functional work projects, and donuts with our President/CEO (with the sole purpose of collecting employee feedback). While we have all of these formal options in place, we encourage all of our employees to stop by and visit with any member of management at any time to share their feedback and suggestions. We are sorry you had a negative experience and wish you the best in your career.
