4 day week. Pay is ok for an unskilled job.

Cons

Too many to list here. Depending on the branch you work for, it varies as to the pressure you are given to complete your route. If you keep your head down, don’t rock the boat, you will be ok. Some of the management at some branches think they can talked to you like you are in the army. At the moment, our branch is free of this style of intimidation. It can be long hours, especially if that is what you want. The harder you work, the more work they will give you. It is what it is. That’s the name of the game.

Pros

Relatively easy work, minimum hassle, quite interesting work- processing coins for customers on the machine and then balancing machine at the end of the shift and reconciling with balance sheet.

Cons

Very dirty environment- the warehouse and building need a deep clean. No chance for progression. No job rotation- the various jobs in the warehouse/office should be rotated on a roster system rather than the same people doing the same jobs every shift. That way people can increase their skills. Very low hourly rate for CIT sector.

Pros

Good people to work alongside. Once you leave the branch you are out of the way and meet some good people.

Cons

Impossible workloads, often unable to complete a days work within your set hours, expected to continue until complete. Lying management who look for excuses to sack workers once a contract ends.
