Pros

The only pro to working with Loram, is going home.

Cons

low wages, long hours with no breaks, sometimes you have to travel 2-3 hours each way to get to work, which is not paid time, so sometimes have 16-18hours days and get paid for 12. You have to provide your own meals, so when you get off work and have 7-8 hours before you go back to work you have to eat and prepare a lunch for the next day, hard to do in a hotel. More like a salve than a job for what you get paid .Travel and see the world, lol, you see the bottom of a grinder everyday, not much travel in that .

Solid privately held company in the Twin Cities

Pros

Privately owned, solid financially. Top quality products and technical staff. Mid-sized company with solid work ethic and culture. Manufacturing in US, and exporting to China - it doesn't get any better!

Cons

Challenging niche industry that is very capital intensive. High design/engineering/maintenance costs make every day a challenge. Too much politics at the executive level for a company of this size. Need leadership that will turn good people into a better team!
