Pros

The people and the energy are the best part of working at the Times. There is a comradery among the employees not seen in too many work places.

Cons

The management is clueless. Altho a fairly liberal and progressive workplace, women are paid less and men have an advantage as to promotions and salary increases.

Pros

Freedom to choose stories. Job encourages independence and creativity. Ability to have an impact on the lives of readers and subjects.

They don't seem to realize they are responsible for quite an exodus of experienced staff.
