Terrible Upper Management

Pros

Majority of the people are kind.

Cons

Upper management has driven the company into a hole. It's disorganized and flailing. Unorganized demands on departments. Unbiased racism. They sprung a 4 day in-office work week on employees. Embarrassing to work for this company.

Pros

Amazing team and coworkers. Those who care are truly remarkable and make the LA Times worth staying at. Great leadership at the director and manager level.

Cons

Constant layoffs. Owner doesn’t align with the views of the employees. No transparency from the top down. No room for growth or salary adjustments.
