Pros

Interacting with the children and getting to see them grow and develop is rewarding. The employees are all friendly and everyone seems to get along well.

Cons

There are hardly any growth opportunities for administrative employees. The employees are stretched thin with their work load and aren’t compensated accordingly or enough.

This job has been incredibly rewarding, you get to see kiddos progress and grow in different areas. when working with a kiddo for a while you start to form a bond with them and you really start to invest in their progress. Supervisors are supportive and are willing to help if you ask for it. The overall environment is a happy one, something I have never gotten from another job. When walking into the office you are greeting with smiles and positive energy, staff makes an effort to make you feel comfortable when working. There are constant opportunities to sub for cases throughout the week if you wish to gain more hours. When emailing supervisors, accounting and scheduling they are always quick to reply.

Cons

More hands on training would have been nice. There was a lot of videos shown during training but it is so different when you are thrown into the field. More opportunities to have hands on training would allow one to feel more comfortable when going out into the field alone for the first time.
