Very chaotic

Pros

Smart and friendly coworkers and interesting technologies. Lots of room for career growth if you’re a process engineer, even more opportunities if you’re willing to work a stint in Ohio (corporate HQ). Some good initiatives underway at the site to standardize work.

Cons

It has continued to be very chaotic here since the newest executive leadership team came on in late 2022. There is a huge number of initiatives underway at a given time and a lot of last-minute requests for information from site management. Operator total compensation (pay plus benefits) is not competitive with other companies nearby, although HR presented to us in a townhall and tried to say it was. Hiring freeze has been less severe in operations than other parts of the company, but it still takes months to post critical roles for backfill. When asked about workload and the hiring freeze, the executive leadership team keeps telling us it’s a “great development opportunity” to take on multiple people’s jobs in addition to your own.
