Pros

-Commitment to DEI programming and thoughtful benefits are not performative, but genuine -Genuine commitment to inspect and adapt our own company practices and culture based on employee feedback from an annual engagement survey. No company is perfect, but Lucid really is committed to making this a great place to work. -Lots of opportunity to work on things you are interested in or that would help you grow your skillset in specific areas -Managers genuinely care about your well-being and growth and try to align you with initiatives/areas that will enable you to grow -Lucid hires truly great people, consistently impressed by my partners in Product, UX, and Engineering -Mentorship opportunities are abundant -Product culture prioritizes speaking with users very frequently -Lots of opportunities to make recommendations for areas or features to invest in, based on your research. The world is your oyster if you are willing to do the legwork. -Ability to make product decisions based on a balance quantitative and qualitative insights -Uppermost Product leadership is mindful of not being overly prescriptive and practices empowering teams/PMs to do the discovery and come to the table with their own recommendations -Continued investment in and availability of extensive analytics and a dedicated analytics team that helps us make data-backed decisions -Family-oriented, and Lucid has tried to reflect this in its benefits packages and performance evaluation process -"Teamwork over ego" is a value I see embodied across Lucid, particularly in Product Dev

Cons

-Challenges scaling communication as the organization has grown rapidly (this is something that I've seen improvement in, but still a notable challenge) -We are pushing hard and going fast--sometimes longer hours are required to get the work done.

Pros

These are some of the best people I’ve worked with, all across the product, design, and engineering org. Interesting product challenges and lots of learning opportunities. Lucid’s offerings are highly visual and have a large, passionate user base. Open and honest communication from leadership on vision and strategic direction. Great team and company culture.

Cons

Common challenges like having to wear multiple hats and tight deadlines. It’s generally a great company to work for.

Pros

- A culture of trust between leadership and individual contributors. - Lucid is true to its core values - The people inspire one another to do great work. We are personally invested in the quality of our products and the customer experience - Lucid employees all use Lucid on a daily, often hourly basis. - Benefits are competitive. Lucid rewards the growth and effort you put in. - It's ok to fail and learn. Lucid encourages individual empowerment and ownership, and learning fast through experimentation. - It doesn't matter where (or from whom) ideas come from. A good idea is a good idea.

Cons

- As Lucid continues to grow rapidly, work-life balance can occasionally become a risk. Slacking after core business hours, tighter deadlines, meetings disregarding lunch breaks can occur. - Ever since the pandemic and the transition to hybrid work, there have been fewer and fewer in-person get-togethers.
