Creative, collaborative, and casual atmosphere. Recognizable brand. Pretty building in good location. Sample sales each quarter. No dress code. You can work with some talented, smart, and conscientious people.
Cons
3 types of employees: incompetents who won't do their job, self-important divas who are permitted to do other people's jobs, and the determined and talented few who endlessly clean up after the other two. Naive entry-levels who leave early each day yet complain about deadlines and workload. Chronically under perform basic responsibilities but leave the company, complaining about lack of advancement and perks. Managers would rather be non-confrontational, cool parents than have high-performing teams, despite how badly it impacts results and people. Leaders who use every meeting for personal politicking and shirk their management responsibilities. Constantly unavailable in secret meetings with each other for days at a time. Somehow entitled to crash meetings daily and rampage other departments' processes and decisions. Don't fulfill basic industry roles or provide mission-critical information, despite entire departments left in the lurch. No consequences for failure, bullying, or dishonesty. Those with higher standards are shouted down, ignored into futility, or completely burned out. Only 2 people in HR impact policy and are only there 2 days p/wk. No privacy anywhere to take a personal phonecall. Can't go to your car because parking is valeted. Very long temp-to-perm promises loses valuable employees.
