Pros

Good intentions to turn company around but it’s a big task.

Cons

Directors and VPs seem more concerned with politics than doing the right thing for employees and customers. They sing kumbaya in front of everyone and in the background, continue to support broken processes and political maneuvering to keep SLT happy. Someone has to take accountability for stopping broken processes that impact customers. including employee retention. I went to a competitor because an internal promotion was too slow. Meanwhile, watching the company promote many to VPs and Directors left and right is very demoralizing. Rank and file should be financially invented without making it a monumental task for approval.

Above average pay, work isn't hard most days.

Cons

Painful degree of mismanagement, introducing AI to every level of the company from creating work orders to managing your daily work load. Job tickets will randomly appear, disappear and the software we use to manage them will randomly break at least once a week.

No work/life balance Unrealistic work expectations The reporting structure has no commitment resolutions RIFs every 6months RIF's right before major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.) Management changes often as do policies and goals Changing management with different commitments to the changing Even though they have a female CEO, she's not in touch with what's going on in the trenches and disorder in the company CEO is a figurehead for good press
