Pros

Some of the employees are very nice. A creative environment if you're an engineer. Beautiful work environment with a hiking trail intersecting the property.

Cons

Think Mad Men... top management tier, except for the owners daughter, are men. Female secretaries -- yes, secretaries -- get them coffee and lunch. Very conservative, formal environment. Regimented and lacks flexibility, no work-from-home or alternative hours. Disorganized project management, and not everyone is nice. Very few African American workiers -- I think I've seen two.

Pros

they give projects to new hires and a decent hiring salary. Products are quality. They don't usually screw over the end user.

Cons

Raises are a joke, promotions can be accompanied by 1% raises, after a few years new hires are making more than established because raised don't keep up with the job market., no performance to pay relationship. If you aren't willing to live in Allentown area you will only get so far. The 5 principals of Lutron say it all. In 5th place is take care of the employees. Joel isn't a nice person.
