+ Exceptional place to start a career - large incoming class of college graduates helps to create a community from day one + Company seeks to fill positions from within, making for numerous opportunities for personal and career growth + Engineering department invests heavily in providing any tools needed to get the job done

Cons

- Culture is (was?) built on fear of top leadership - Location of headquarters is a great match for some people but not most - makes it difficult to recruit - Company has a "only if invented here" mentality making it sometimes slow to respond to market changes

They give you a lot of freedom to take on varied responsibilities. There is also attention given to internal training which helps keep employees well-rounded and growing professionally.

Cons

Movement in the company and your performance is extremely dependent upon your supervisor. If your supervisor doesn't value you then your career suffers. HR pretends to care, but their clear lack of action proves otherwise.

Nice, professional people, taking their jobs seriously. Although the job did not quite match the description, I still enjoyed my time working there. Beautiful area, large campus, good cafeteria food.

Cons

Very strict dress code. I don't understand why developers need to wear ties to do their jobs.
