Professional development and advancement options missing but wonderful working atmosphere and teams

Pros

Great team members most of the time. Great immediate report. Mostly not micromanaging and trust you to do your job. Good atmosphere with most coworkers, strong teams. Management seems to be looking for continuous improvement and innovation.

Cons

Some leaders treat their team awesome and fair, others have more self-interest instead of team interests. No real advancement opportunities for some, no matter how motivated and high performing, possibly due to a fixed mold. More flexibility/out of the box could be the answer.

Georgia properties do not have the same vibe as the California properties as far as personnel goes.

Lyon Living just celebrated it's 30th anniversary, so I felt compelled to post something. Lyon has company culture that is 2nd to none. Between the open office (new within the last few years), positive energy and camaraderie, opportunities for advancement, major growth, and great leadership, I couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of such an amazing organization. I feel pretty lucky!

Cons

Given the positive energy in the office and the open culture (everyone is so friendly) sometimes it makes it tough to get work done. But shutting my office door helps that when necessary.
