Join - and stay - if you are passionate about the future - and want to cast your thoughts into the melting pot that is Lyris. Phenomenal opportunities - when we get it right. And before then - come and help shape the future - and start building the roads.

Cons

Don't join if you want an easy ride, to hide, to be collect a pay check, to maintain the status quo .... Lyris is not a start up ... but has all the excitement of one !

Startup vibe for a company that is over 20 years old. Lyris invented email marketing with their ListManager product so there is a strong sense of history and pride within the company. Everyone in Head Office is friendly and committed to helping our customers make the most of our products.

Cons

Compensation is average for the industry. Job flexibility is good and management support working from home on occasion. Pay less attention to the bad reviews here on Glassdoor.com as these were from a bunch of engineers who were working in a separate office in San Jose. Whilst I didn't know any of them personally, tough decisions were made to cease development of the legacy products that were purchased by J.L. Halsey Corporation in 2007.
