Pros

Stable bank with good history, well-positioned in current climate to thrive as larger banks stumble over new regulations. Culture of conservative underwriting standards maintains consistency across economic cycles.

Cons

Few opportunities to advance within the organization - priority is given to tradition and status quo over new ideas and energy.

Pros

Good Benefits Great market share in my area Financially sound, traditional regional bank with reasonable local support

Cons

Poor technology on every level Very conservative with rates and lending guidelines Career path is decided based on who you know rather than what you know in a majority of cases

Pros

The benefits were one of the best reasons to work at the bank. The discounts on rates were exceptional

Cons

Incompetent management. Most upper management did not have college degree. Almost no room to advance unless someone retired from the company.
