      Always growing, lots of job growth opportunities

      Cons

      work is constantly intense, there are no slow days at all, tenure and "family atmosphere" doesn't exist, HR is for the Company/Managers

      Thank you for your comments. We are a fast-growing company with a good mix of new and long-tenured employees (with a few being over 40 years). We are a company that is always changing and providing both a challenging and rewarding (performance reviews, bonus program, above and beyond, etc) work environment. Employees also have ownership in the culture here at MACOM.

      Pros

      The employees are incredible people and the work is interesting. Company benefits are good.

      Cons

      It is very visible to employees that most of the growth opportunity and bonuses go to management. Employees in lower, critical positions are likely to remain in those positions with slow growth. The company feels very "fat" at the top level.

      It is a good learn experience, and the mentor and manager are good. People are willing to teach me at the office.

      Cons

      For international student like me, it is pretty hard to get a full time position at MACOM, there are some citizenship requirement for the position.
