Strong reputation and kind people, but low pay and insecurity
Pros
The company is big and has a lot of great name recognition. The people who work here are excellent and kind people. There is a dedication to updating softwares and systems that have needed improvement.
Cons
Only a 3% match. The salary is not competitive with other opportunities in the area. Company is returning to five days in office after a deep commitment to hybrid work culture. No communication on any reorganizations until it hits you head on. Role insecurity is huge, and your job could disappear over seas at any moment. The company often says one thing and does the other. Company is using AI as an excuse to implement bad policy. HR is slow and often struggles to attract new talent which further makes me question why we would want high quality talent leaving.
