Pros

some of the properties they are nice, decent health beneifts

Cons

They could careless about seniors. They are a real estate company that decided to get into senior living through acquiring properties. All they are concerned about is census. They are arrogant about it too and will just show up at properties, change things, fire people and then leave without a care about anybody. And, they spin their culture into one of "we care about the communities etc." Don't be fooled. Low class ambulance chasers.

Pros

Pay is great. Low premium for health insurance and 1 to 1 match on 401k with 100% vestiture. High-end communities. I would trust a loved one to live in one of their communities. Senior leadership is extremely knowledgeable and professional.

Cons

They do not value their "human capital". Very sterile work environment. A lot of Monday morning quarterbacking from supervisors. Non-supportive culture. Be careful about "thinking outside the box" because their are dumb questions. At the end of the day it is a typical corporate environment. Achieve the ever-increasingly unlikely budget metrics and you will be fine. But you'll need a workaholic personality and some luck to get there. Forget "life balance".

Pros

MBK Senior Living is a great place to work. They offer everything you could want in an employer. Great leadership, positive culture, and terrific benefits. Leadership is very open and consistently shares the company Purpose, goals and Core Values with all associates making everyone feel like a valued part of the team.

Cons

This is a terrific employer, no cons so far.
