Pros

I joined the MBK team earlier this year and I am so happy that I did! I worked for my last employer for more than ten years and was definitely ready for a change. In looking for a new job, I was excited to see that MBK had been voted as one of the "Top Work Places in Orange County" by the OC Register. This resonated with me because my main objective in switching jobs was to find a company where employees felt respected and appreciated. MBK has a great team atmosphere and they truly appreciate their employees. The company has an event committee that plans several celebrations each month (birthday luncheons, St. Patrick's Day baked potato bar and most recently a taco truck for Cinco de Mayo. The President believes in a "play hard, work hard" philosophy. Great for employee morale! MBK does a great job of training their employees. I had a full two weeks of training, which included four days of job shadowing at one of the senior living communities. That was a pretty cool experience. There are also regular "lunch and learn" training sessions and online training webinars. Policies and procedures are well established and there is always someone to help answer any questions. Great HR department and IT tech support. MBK has an open door policy and they stand by it. The management staff works side by side with employees and is fully accessible. They treat employees fairly and communicate openly. There are weekly "Stand Up" meetings for all team members and monthly "All Staff" meetings for the management team. This helps keep everyone on the same page. Expectations and goals are clear and employees are reviewed on a regular schedule. MBK offers a full benefits package: competitive salary, generous vacation and holiday schedule, good medical/dental/life insurance, flexible spending account, health savings account, flexible working hours and business casual atmosphere. And a favorite MBK perk? A well stocked fridge!

Cons

Can't think of anything.
