Pros

This company is great, it is family business and they do care about all of their employees. You don't see to many companies likes this.

Cons

The only con I have with MES is that with the new government contract we longer have sick leave.

Full time employment with local organization

Cons

HR takes their time getting back to you with answers to questions if they ever get back to you at all. You never know how much leave you have accrued because it does not appear on your pay stub. when you request your leave amounts, it is always different than when you had figured it would be. Given the position, my counter parts were making double what I was making doing the exact same job at other organizations as contractors. The compensation could be more, at least livable.

There are no pros that I am aware of yet

Cons

Company recently won a contract and immediately after telling people there would be no layoffs, laid numerous people off stating there were no positions for those peope to fill. Not less than a week later, they immediately start hiring new personnel for the jobs that were no longer available a few days earlier. Also, the stipend they offer for insurance that is supposed to cover the insurance does not and you will have to pay even more money out of pocket after being forced into a 401k
