Pros

Like my manager and our district manager. Both make me feel good about my work. Think they both try hard for us. Team is fun and freindly. We did get raise this year. I did get to take some time off when asked for it. District manager called me because she was watching me on video and said I did good job handling carding customer. She watches at night to see that we are safe.

Cons

So much work is required during a shift you can't usually get it done and take care of our customers. NO BREAKS, required to stand your whole shift even when work double shift no break and must stand. No smoking at all, very difficult with the level of stress. When someone who works for company comes in they pick on the one thing not good and ignore everything you work on all the time. Hard as everyone tries always say we didn't do good. Got raises this year so now after almost two years I am 8.50, many places start at that, not much hope of any more. Big guy comes in and acts like he is too good to talk to us except to question and bark orders about anything no good. Supposed to get bonuses, never seen one yet. If audit is bad company makes us all feel like thiefs, then they find paperwork problem that fixes it and no one apologizes. Can be very unpleasant. I sometime try to get people to come to work but they never stay because they say it is not worth the money. I am used to it.

Pros

Some of the management are very kind. Most of the employees are like a family. Very "down home" group of folks who care about each other.

Cons

Nepotism is very strong. Certain managers can screw up and even lie in high impact scenarios over and over again but still maintain their employment and status. On the other hand, non-management folks can easily be let go for no apparent reason. There is little or no room for career growth and training is not seen as important or necessary. There is a very large and obvious gap between management and staff. Management has an "old school" approach where employees are to be seen not heard. Those who speak out to loudly about best practices or have a great idea are not only stifled but outright discouraged. It is safest to be quiet, keep your thoughts and ideas to yourself, and follow directions no matter where they may lead you or the company, with blind obedience.

Pros

The plant is close to my home.

Cons

Disorganized management. Upper management focused on compensation for themselves. Hiring supervisors with no experience or knowledge about the field over internal applicants with experience and knowledge to save money on salary. Driver facing cameras in all of the delivery trucks. Difficulty with following through with promised compensation/position changes.
