      A good alternative to a life of job mobility

      Pros

      As the title suggests, it’s easy to move around at Lincoln, especially as you’re starting out. They want you to be somewhere where you’ll succeed and are open to role changing within the lab.

      Cons

      In role changing, you’ll come across all types. Some are micromanagers while others let you run free. Depending on your compatibility with your supervisor, you may not enjoy your time in the role, especially if you’re stuck in a lab with them all day.

      Cons

      Steep learning curve, some process ambiguity, visibility into past and concurrent efforts can be limited, no variable compensation
