      Smart people and can be interesting work (If you get lucky and look hard enough) Good retirement benefits

      Cons

      Hard to move up the ladder unless you play into office politics and not much room for professional growth unless you're looking strictly into management style positions. Definitely can see why people don't leave, very easy to get comfortable and coast doing little to no work. Seen it many times.
