EEOC Violations Left and Right

Pros

Challenging work and ever-expanding opportunities. Company serves every government agency and is trying to tap into private industry. It is virtually impossible to run out of work to do. High turnover means that job opportunities are always available.

Cons

Very competitive atmosphere where back-stabbing is encouraged. Senior leadership preaches “grace and respect,” but this only applies to the left-wing agenda. CEO is extremely political. MITRE used to support the public interest but now it is destructively trying to force a safer world. Anyone who has a dissenting opinion to the CEO is eliminated. Religious, conservative, independent thinkers need not apply. You are not welcome. You must obey the king. VACCINE PASSPORTS.

Pros

Pay and Benefits are good

Cons

The company specializes in being pedantic. I've often said MITRE is very good at "admiring the problem" instead of solving it. MITRE "engineers" like to proffer their expertise, which is highly inflated, to government programs to make the problem space more complicated. Rather than closing the problem to make better decisions for the government, they offer lots of caveats and "yeah, buts..." I suggest everyone at MITRE read Kill Chain by Christian Brose and take a long hard look in the mirror. Our adversaries are strategically defeating us, and bickering and arguing about communications protocols is literally making it worse. Building a better widget is NOT what the DOD needs When they fired Al Grasso as CEO, he said offered some works of wisdom on his way out regarding MITRE's future. Paraphrasing, he said "it'll depend if MITRE is seen as part of the problem or part of the solution." I can assure MITRE is part of the problem

Pros

Flexible work schedule (depending on your manager)

Cons

Lots of red tape. No energy or ambition in employees. Very slow moving. Mostly older folks waiting to retire.
