Through our public-private partnerships and federally funded R&D centers, we work across government and in partnership with industry and academia to tackle some of the most complex challenges facing our nation – and our teams do it all through their objective insights, unique vantage points, and technical know-how. In ensuring our talent has what they need to be successful, we are led by a distinct group of senior leaders with diverse backgrounds in technology, business, and public service that provide the vision, skills, and judgment needed to shape our work programs and guide the activities of our staff, all while remaining grounded in good governance and sound corporate policy. In doing so, our organization offers benefits such as our flexible work program that fosters both in-person and digital opportunities for employees to connect with the added benefit of in-office and remote flexibility. Our program allows staff to flex their 80-hour pay-period time as needed with only 50% of their time required in an office setting. Throughout the year, we host dozens of employee-focused events that foster relationship building and exploration of the many projects that MITRE employees can put their skillsets against. As a non-for profit working in partnership with the federal government, we take time-keeping management very seriously. Whether supporting one project at a time or many projects simultaneously, our staff are required to maintain accurate records of hours worked and absences used in support of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (Wage and Hour Law) as well as applicable state and local laws.
