Direct supervisors, project leaders, middle management truly care about their people and go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need to support your government sponsor. They are the lifeblood of the company.
Cons
It seems the C Suite is completely disconnected from the company's mission and its employees. Recent benefit cuts were directly aimed at long term employees with 9+ years at the company, introducing an unnecessary risk of losing countless years of experience and institutional knowledge that MITRE's sponsors VALUE. There is zero indication of them trying to retain employees either, including those at the company less than 9 years that were unaffected by recent changes who are now questioning why they should remain at the company. It's been tough watching this company go downhill the last 6 years. Seems like things only get worse and have gotten far, far worse in only the last year.
