      Pros

      Great co-workers, excellent salaries, chances to do both research and development projects, wonderful partnerships with their government customers, , many forward-looking initiatives, the FFRDC business model focus on customer value rather than getting more work by any means. very high ethics.

      Cons

      The FFRCD business model limits full product development, so you have to learn to give away your research and prototypes.

      Pros

      Not for Profit: Focused on sponsor mission and outcomes, not profit margins. Excellent benefits Really believes in work life balance. Working on some the most complex government problems which provides a sense of satisfaction

      Cons

      Not always the highest paying - could probably make more at another company. Also, salary increases are generally small.

      Pros

      I felt like I was contributing to the real world when I was given the work and MITRE provided flexible hours for me to avoid traffic hours since I lived far away.

      Cons

      There were not many cons of this job experience. Perhaps, the only one is that they don't provide lunch, and the cafe food nearby isn't the best quality (so going out to eat is the best)
