      Pros

      Health benefits are pretty good, but their big benefit is their retirement plan. Facilities and grounds are very nice - gym, basketball, soccer field, walking paths etc. For the most part, very nice environment to work in.

      Cons

      A non-profit organization means no profit sharing, no stock plan, etc. Salaries tend to a little below the average for professionals, raises are minimal for the most part. Not a lot of opportunity for advancement. Lots of little fiefdoms.

      A company focused on growth instead of customer

      Pros

      - Work with excellent engineers. - When management focuses on the customer, important work can be accomplished.

      Cons

      - Too many in management are involved in "turf" protection to the detriment of work efforts and the customer. - Too many are focused on their career advancement instead of quality work efforts. - At the upper tiers of the AC level a definite snobbery exists in many - Promotions and pay increases more related to social network than performance, which means that to get recognized, one must engage in a constant internal PR effort
