Pros

Very smart people . Great learning environment . Benefits ?

Cons

A most arrogant way permeates MITRE , The company is devoid of true leadership. Management works on new structures / reorgs. that last over a year with the only outcome being more department heads . A company that takes such pride in its ties to the government but doesn't observe presidents day? ( dwindling benefits ) Lastly , as stated in many other reviews , the technical skill path is not what it should be.

Declining Organization

Pros

Mitre changed remarkably within a 3 year period. From remote work to being utterly inflexible. Senior leadership treats employees like an inconvenient infestation. Pay has been relatively stagnant and so has PTO. Promotions are more aboutbpoliticd than work. They preach sponsor impact but even with numerous awards and rewards from the sponsor, unless you play the kiss up game, you will not advance. All workplaces call for politics, but Mitre is the worst I've ever seen.

Cons

Pay, Politics, Flexibility. Organization lost its identity
