Pros

Good benefits, friendly people (staff & managers). If you donate to the foundation charities, they give away tablets as raffle prizes. PS. I haven't won yet. Good teamwork ethic and job stability, they've been around for a long time!

Cons

Not many casual Fridays, it's only done the last Friday of the month.

very slow and complete absense of any kind of pressing deadlines make working there a piece of cake as far as being able to remain relaxed and chatty with others at work - that's in my opinion in part due to the non-profit nature of this organization.

Cons

all that's outlined in the pros section above also is something contributing greatly to the fact that working there is almost the embodiment of corprorate welfare. I needed results so I was considered weird - I walked away.

It's unfortunate that the expectations for performance in your work group was less than challenging for you. I've been in the organization for well over 10 years and I can tell you it's not like that in most areas. In fact, the speed of change in MJHS is quite aggressive and makes for very tight time frames and deadlines.
