Pros
I haven't worked at MJHS for long, but so far I have no regrets. Management has a GREAT open door policy from high-level to middle-management. I find myself going to them when I need assistance and they seem to encourage it! The rest of the staff is very easy to get along with too. Management usually has the staff work together, so things get done efficiently without too much falling on one person. I've been working here a little under a year now and I've seen a LOT of people get promoted in various departments and then seen people get hired to replace those promoted. So it seems like the company is doing very well and there's a lot of room for advancement, which excites me for the future.
HR gives cash incentives if you recommend nurses and they get hired.
They recently had a company wide walking challenge. You form teams, you're given pedometers and the winning team won a trip for each member, plus 1, to Spain! They company covers it! I've been told they do this every year with a different location, so I'm excited for the next one.
They have REALLY good benefits and they don't take much out of my check so that's always a plus! On top of that everyone gets their birthday off PAID! It's been a good ride so far, looking forward to see what's next!
Cons
No real serious cons, they can do a little more to build a better work-life balance. Maybe more casual Friday's! I work in the corporate office in Brooklyn and there's not much to eat around here. I would personally love it if they offered some more variety in the cafeteria!
