Pay is above average for the region, although still qualifies for welfare in various local cities

Cons

Management prioritizes call volume over employee safety Culture leads to the wrong people getting promoted, common example are people openly bragging about acting well outside their scope getting promoted to trainers/leadership Benefits are terrible, especially considering the potential dangers/exposures of the job Equipment is poorly maintained

The pay was good for the area.

Cons

I've never worked at a company who has such little regard for their personnel, and I've been in EMS for a very long time. Morale is poor due to negative and unprofessional management. Terrible quality trucks and even worse mechanic.
