Great co-workers. Work three 12s is full time

Cons

They put you in bad situations for money. I’m a veteran and they triggered my PSTD (long story) so I quit on the spot. I was in paramedic school through them and they said I couldn’t do ride alongs with them after I quit. I only signed because of the ride alongs at the time I had a 6 month old at home and couldn’t travel for ride alongs. I didn’t finish due to all of these events and now they are suing me.

Pros

As a part time employee and student I had the ability to change and create my schedule. Pay was best in the area.

Cons

Ambulances were lower quality. Some fellows employees needed better training.

Best equipment I have worked with in the area (Power-loads, Hamilton T1's, Tempus Pro's, Opti-flow, etc.). Don't have to go on low acuity BLS 911 runs. Very rare to get held over shift. Big box trucks.

IFT runs keep us busy most of our shift
