The pay was good for the area.

Cons

I've never worked at a company who has such little regard for their personnel, and I've been in EMS for a very long time. Morale is poor due to negative and unprofessional management. Terrible quality trucks and even worse mechanic.

Internal politics matter more than standard of care

Schedule was flexible, workload was industry topical, paycheck was consistent

Cons

Management acted like highschool cliques were the most reliable management technique and actively engaged in gossip about in employees. Federal regulation compliance was very picked and voicing concerns were dismissed and punished. Dispatch was treated as higher than trained providers and actively bullied crews.
