Big turnaround

Pros

*culture has turned around and employees are listened to now. *company is no longer the wild west of indie development and process and pipelines are in place to avoid future crunch *the staff is very talented *new leadership and leads are giving employees the space to learn and grow. *setting better standards for reviews and compensation *bright future

Cons

*still some growing pains of shifting from a indie studio *management and staff still learning best practices *had to crunch do to a game being overscoped and too ambitious. (But it's done now)

Pros

- Across every department, everyone here is crazy talented and a pleasure to work with. - Management (even at high level) is generally receptive to feedback and takes steps to address issues when they come up. - Lots of room for career/skill growth. - Good communication between teams (this used to be a real bottleneck).

Cons

- Deadlines can be very tight (or in worst cases, unrealistic (scope creep is real)). - Still a start up, so there are a lot of growing pains as processes/hierarchies change.

Chance to pitch ideas early in projects, though follow through rarely supported contributions.

Cons

Concepts were repeatedly revised with no explanation. Direction shifted suddenly, erasing days of effort. Feedback was vague and unhelpful, leaving no clear path to improvement. Creative choices felt reactionary instead of intentional. Constant uncertainty made steady progress nearly impossible.
