Career Growth: - No long term career growth. - A clear misalignment/misunderstanding of this role's responsibilities. Communication: - Poor communication among departments. - Much misinformation spread among department heads. - Decisions are made by directors who are not familiar with the Game development pipeline. - Good leaders who do have that experience are not listened to. Nepotism: - Favoritism from Directors based on personal relationships. - No actionable change to support the workers. - No actionable change to improve pipelines taken from worker feedback. Crunch: - Production pipeline is over scoped and constantly invites crunch, which has improved from previous games but is still not good. Culture: - A culture where people are afraid to speak their minds because they are afraid for their job security. - A sense that workers are replaceable with no concern of anyone leaving. Hiring: - There was an ultimatum given for accepting the job. - The recruiter had an unprofessional tone and did not communicate well. Compensation: - Low pay. - Low pay adjustments. - Average Benefits. - Low PTO accumulation.
