Pros

Employee salaries are decent, and the first two to three months for new hires are great. After the first two to three months, employees will start to notice the Cons listed below.

Cons

management seemed quite unprofessional in terms of making decisions. decisions regarding new hires, new internal programs, bonus distribution, were made in a rash, hasty fashion, with little thought toward the future. the company continues to have extremely high turnover - something management and the board should have taken note of and tried to remedy long ago.

Pros

Intersting and large projects that will look good on just about any resume regardless of field or line of business.

Cons

Ego-maniacal leadership. it's so frustrating to work with someone who could not bear to be wrong. the ceo is abusive to staff. Due to such a strong dependence on federal funding the company is crashing hard.

Pros

When I was there I worked with some very interesting and talented individuals. We worked on fascinating projects, and often had a good time doing so

Cons

None of the aforementioned interesting or talented individuals were in the leadership team. Leadership team could be best discribed as bumbling bullies. There is zero focus on a job well done, and even less focus on well performing employees Extremely top heavy company, the ratio of billable to non billable staff is scary Staggering turnover of staff. Not a month goes by without a handful of people giving up on being heard and leaving, or Management laying off someone Oddly, for every two billable people to leave, a new non billable VP pops up in their place Employees are typically miserable about their jobs, everybody was looking to leave when I was there. Hours are typically double what you would expect to see anywhere else. With all of the non working VPs in the company, the brunt of the work falls onto the few billable employees. Pay is typically 10% less than what the industry offers. Paid Time Off is a joke. If you are ever granted a day off, you WILL be expected to work from wherever you are, and be availble for calls. Plan on accepting calls from various Regional managers as late as 10 pm, as well as on weekends. When you work there, THEY OWN YOUR LIFE. You will never have a moment to yourself. The true talent to the company leaves after about a year. Nobody sticks around. CEO will puff his chest and tell the group that they left because they were idiots. If they were such idiots, why did government agencies, schools and prestigious hospitals recently recruit former Moca principles? CEO will also say it was a strategic move to "plant" Moca employees so he has an "in" for future work This strategy, for record, has brought him zero revenue. It has however brought him 3 "real" reviews on this site!
