Struggling company

Pros

Some good and friendly people Remote

Cons

This company is not what it used to be. It's been struggling for years. It doesn't take two brains to see how terrible and directionless leadership is. Leadership used to always put on great shows in company syncs pretending they always knew what they were doing. In years they haven't met their targets. Never learning from their lessons. Getting worse and worse. Failing to even migrate platforms for that many years that the new platforms will likely become legacy before migrations are done. Yet they're so good at BS. They now talk about seasons. They keep coming up with all that crap. This is not a place to be. Whatever the position is and whatever department stay away!

Lack of Empathy

Pros

Friendly people and Good office

Cons

The company shows a complete lack of respect and empathy toward its people. Employees are treated as disposable resources rather than human beings, stripped of dignity and basic compassion. I have never witnessed People Partners, who are meant to protect and support employee wellbeing, behave with such coldness and cruelty. During redundancy discussions, they are ruthless and emotionally detached. They hold grudges and use their position not to support, but to intimidate and control. Line managers operate without honesty or courage. One day they speak about long-term plans and future projects as if you have security; the next day, you receive an email instructing you not to come into the office. The contrast is shocking and deeply destabilising. Leadership is chaotic and directionless, leaving employees in a constant state of uncertainty and anxiety. There is no concern for the personal struggles or mental health of staff. The only thing that matters is delivery and deadlines, right up until the moment you are forced to provide medical proof that you are no longer fit to work.
