Starting salary is decent (but even with great performance reviews, there aren't enough raises to stick around)

Cons

Certain executives are machiavellian sharks that perpetuate siloed behavior patterns, unable to partner...simply looking out for their own bonuses. There is lack of trust and people are constantly looking over their shoulders because being stabbed in the back is so commonplace. This job has affected the health of many colleagues who were stressed out constantly.

Pros

Ability for junior staff to work beyond their experience level, mainly because no one wants to be on the hook for anything.

Cons

They pay vastly below the market. They will lie about compensation to get you in. Constant turnover at the senior mgt level, no one knows what they are doing. A culture of hate and disappointment throughout the bank. No one wants to be here. Red tape everywhere, beyond bureaucratic. Nothing works, old machines, bad systems, feels like the company's systems are 20 years old.
